Paul didn’t start the church at Colosse, but he loved this group of believers just as he loved all believers. He wrote this letter to the church probably when he was in prison in Rome. He wanted to reassure these young believers that they had the gospel and to beware of anyone who tried to add to it or change it.
This short book only has four chapters. To be prepared for the first class on January 8, read the entire book. Be ready to share a verse, a thought, an aha moment that came to you while reading it.
