Praise isn’t the first thing that most people think of when they think of the Book of Revelation. Revelation is full of praise for the God who brought us back into communion with him. Hallelujah indeed.
Bring your Bible. That’s the only book required for this study. Think about it. Who is speaking and to whom is that person speaking? Why are we being allowed to overhear what is being said?
As we progress in this class, think about when, how, and where you experience yourself praising the God of Creation. Be intentional, be aware.

VBS starts with dinner at 5:00 each evening. Friday will be a celebration dinner and families are invited.
True North VBS is going to take the kids on an adventure to the far north where they will sing, play games, perform experiments, learn Scripture, and study Bible stories. Most of all they will learn that Jesus can always be trusted.

8 Stations of the Cross
The horror of the crucifixion of the Christ. The day started with Jesus being tried illegally by the Sanhedrin, the Jewish leaders who didn’t want to upset the status quo. This was followed by his mock trial by Pilate, who didn’t want to upset the Emperor. He was mocked and scourged to the point that he couldn’t carry his own cross to the Place of the Skull where he would be crucified. The Lord of the Universe allowed himself be humiliated and tortured to save us from the consequences of our choices, our actions. We bear his cross.
Maundy Thursday
Jesus offered the bread and the wine to his apostles at the Last Supper saying do this in remembrance of me. Wickline invites you to join us at the Lord’s table as we remember.

Palm Sunday Cantata
The choir will present the cantata From Silence to Song on Palm Sunday at both the 8:30 and the 11:00 service. Join in this time of remembering the Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem to shouts of “hosanna” followed by his rejection by the same people crying “crucify him”. This cantata will start us on our Holy Week journey to the cross and from there to the resurrection of our risen Lord. Hallelujah, he is risen!

The Oklahoma Blood Institute will be holding a blood drive at Wickline on Sunday, April 6, from 8:30am to noon. Why not come and give blood and then come to church? Walk-ins are welcome. Thunder Game
Elementary, middle school, and high school students will be going to a Thunder basketball game this week. Let the leaders (Jesse Brown, Jordan Brown, or Jennifer Fleming) know if you or yours want to go. Each student MUST have a signed permission slip.
Everybody should be at the church at 5:00 for PIZZA before leaving for the game.
